Tony Teflon

Born in the getto streets of Queens, Tony Teflon perfected his skills battling through the city. As Tony says, "We were trying to crush everybody, we weren't trying to be down, just wipe cats out". (Is that another way of saying, "We Bad Dudes?")

Tony first joined up with his best friend Reka, now one cult of the black brothers. After numerous run-ins with the cops, Tony relocated to upstate New York. Another quote from Tony- "I had to get out the game and focus on something more positive. I knew that the hardest thing in life is realizin' that your not a kid anymore. Nahmean?" (slang for- Do you know what I mean?)

Now with his feet placed firmly on the ground, Tony Teflon sets his sites on getting recognized in the music industry.

Tiffany Robison

At 21 years old, Tiffany has written approximately 150 songs, and recently have had the opportunity to record about 15 of them. "I still remember the first song I ever wrote, about 14 years ago", says Tiffany. We were sitting around the breakfast table at my grandma's house and I was trying to convince my siblings that I had learned a new song in Sunday school (I hadn't really, I just liked to trick them as often as I could). They thought they had me cornered when they asked, "Oh yeah, then what was the song?" No sweat. I just made one up on the spot so they would believe me (which they did). I called it "Strawberry Patch." Her mom figured out an accompaniment for it on the guitar, and Tiffany recorded it at the public access station's studio, along with a dance she choreographed. She then submitted it to a competition, and although she didn't win, it was a great memory. That was the first of many songs to come.

Tiffany graduated with a degree in music and a certificate in piano pedagogy from Roberts Wesleyan College in December 2007, after spending her last semester abroad in Australia. She is currently working as a music therapist. The things in life she is most passionate about are writing, music (obviously), photo shoots, reading and learning, getting to know lots of different people, traveling, and public speaking. Tiffany says, "her greatest desire and goal in life is to know my Lord Jesus more and more every day that I live". Tiffany loves vanilla flavors (not chocolate), her favorite color is pink, favorite flower is a rose, and the author she most respect is C.S.Lewis.

Rebecca Angel

rebecca

Rebecca with her daughter Lilli

While writing a fantasy novel, Rebecca Angel decided to put in a band made up of mythical creatures called 'Camelot's Destruction'. Wondering what kind of music this band would write, she started composing songs, realized she was on a gold mine of inspiration, and hasn't stopped on the strange and fantasical journey of covering a band that only exists within the fantasy realms of her mind. Though that only explains a portion of the vast catalogue of songs written by Rebecca Angel in the past ten years.

Rebecca Angel studied piano from an early age and sang in classical choirs for many years. But it wasn't until she picked up the guitar as an adult that the songs started flowing. Growing up with classical music, but finding grunge and alternative rock as a teenager, Rebecca Angel's music blends both melodic quality and raw emotion. Her lyrics roam freely from evil wizards to sappy love songs. She'll never stop writing, and with performances throughout the Capital Region of New York, extending into Vermont and Connecticut, Rebecca Angel is quickly becoming part of the musical scene.

Michael Landrio

landrio Here is an act a little different from the other performers that appear on this site.

Michael Landrio is a thirty year old writer from New York state. He has written songs (four independent album projects, as well being a lyricist for others). His spoken word piece "Many Angels" was influenced by such works as Jack Kerouac's "Mexico City Blues" and Allen Ginsberg's "Howl." "Many Angels" has a rhyming quality that sucks you in. It is also part satire. There are pieces of it that are based on works such as "Inferno" (Dante), Paradise Lost" (Milton) and "A Season In Hell" (Rimbaud).
